A large wheel supplier for the earth-moving equipment industry needed to automatic a mission critical manual process. As part of quality assurance procedures, the customer is required to manually check the temperature of steel wheels that are exiting a tempering batch oven. The cost of labor, along with OSHA considerations, necessitated the move to an automated solution.
A custom, turn key solution was provided to automate the temperature measurement quality assurance procedure. The project was completed on time and on specification.
